ABOUT the GCB CLUB

Golf Club Brno (Now known as GCB) is a voluntary association established in 1993. At that time it was named PAR Golf Club Brno. In 2004 we agreed to change the name to Golf Club Brno Jinačovice. At a general meeting on the 15th of February 2006 another title was chosen: Golf Club Brno.

The objective of the GCB is to create conditions for active golf playing, with special focus on:

• Development and advertising of golf as a means of active rest.
• Creating and providing sporting, social and club activities for our members.
• Supporting youth and their playing – running of the YLC (Youth Learning Centre).

GCB will evolve these objectives with the support of our members and GOLF BRNO Inc. GCB will also cultivate a cooperation with other subjects established in Czech Rrepublic and abroad.

The new Board of directors has been working since its election at the general meeting on the 19th of February 2009. It consists of the following members:
